The land would have belonged to the Church ( Catholic/ CoE) and THEY sold it. Many grave yards get reused when nobody has been buried there for over 100 years, nothing new here- yes the gravestones could have been treated with dignity but what do you do with them?

A car park is helpful. Infact something as simple as a carpark can help alot of people from becoming bones earlier in life.

An Urn can be a connection to your past without taking up space. I understand the sentimentality of graveyards but we simply can't keep building new ones indefinitely.

There's a big cemetery near me and it's just a fucking big waste of space that could be used for much better things like a Nando's (we don't have any round here) or a go kart track or something. PB this sounds like an extremely arrogant reply! This has nothing to do with religion, if they were going to build a new tescos it would be the same reply! respect is what this is about!

I recently went to Auschwitz with the Mrs. If the polish government decided to allow Aldi to build a supermarket on the site do you really think it would be allowed?? is there a difference.. I think not!
