We can't afford both, and if we sign one other clubs will know how much we have and need for any other signings and will have us over a barrel when it comes to buying or selling.

Barca may well still owe them money from the Cesc and/or Song transfers though, so their up front outlay would be lower if they offset that.

I agree.......With Fernando and Sagna almost City players (if reports are true!) signing a world class CB is the most important and ONLY move we should be looking to make.....
