Not read the whole thread, but he'd count as home grown which may be a reason for him in itself.

...and I'm pretty sure that Wenger wouldn't be bitter about that at all, and certainly wouldn't mention it in passing in a press conference!

I don't see it as a case of selling Yaya to bring in Fabregas, I don't see why we couldn't have both

Neither do I ... we need Yaya and Fabregas for the CL. If Toure were to be sold he'd have to be replaced with another world class player.

I'd be happy to have Fernandino, Fernando, Yaya and Fabregas as my 4 central midfielders

Which would mean listening to offers for Garcia, Rodwell and unfortunately Milner

There is still plenty of dead wood in our squad that can be shipped out to give us more money to play with

And on top of that I've still got a sneaky feeling that one of Jovetic or Negredo could be heading out

For me a great summer would be bringing in Sagna, Benatia, Fabregas and Fernando, keeping hold of Yaya and selling Garcia, Micah, Rodwell, Milner and one of Negredo and Jovetic

I think a midfield 3 is probably what were looking towards, especially in the CL.

Bare in mind me played about 55 games this season which is around about 30 games each on average, take into account Yaya waddling off to AFCON possibly and the odd injury.

4-2-3-1....4-1-3-2....4-1-2-3.....4-3-3....take your pick....also Fabregas can play in a few different positions like Silva

I've had PM's and DM's telling me

1. He has agreed to come but no deal with Barca, yet.

2. Barca have agreed a fee but no personal talks done yet.

3. Fee and personal terms all agreed just waiting for post WC announcement.

4. Its all paper talk and City aren't remotely interested.

And this is just one player and its only the 2nd of June.

Its gonna be fun, fun, fun.
