Replacing Milner.

Milner is offski. Has offers on the table from Liverpool and Arsenal.

Factors in about £10m.

Also expect Kolarov to come into the equation for Benatia plus cash.

As things stand, Yaya still not going anywhere and club no intention of selling.

We are going to be unstoppable, Possibly fab!

Sagna and Fernando next few days.

Hmm I'm not sure TH, nothing personal with you but if we were getting rid of Milner and Kolarov and replacing them with players that play in different positions then surely we will also have to sign a new left back and and right midfielder?

We're not getting rid of Milner, he wants to leave and has 12 months remaining in his deal, it is not about more money for him.

Likewise, Kolarov has 12 months remaining and Roma are very keen.

As for a right midfielder, Fernando, Fabregas and Fernandinho more than cover.

We will have plenty of incoming money to cover the bases.

Word is we definitely don't want Moreno and Liverpool are pushing ahead so I can see him going there.

It's interesting the Kolarov situation. Statistically he's been excellent and on many levels was a key player for us with him providing heavy assists in the way that Edin scores heavy goals.

Maybe this is the reason that the Shaw situation has stalled for United ? Otherwise it'll be fascinating to see who they bring in because if Kola goes there will defo be an incoming LB.

Fernando and Fabregas plus Yaya staying surely means that Garcia and Rodwell are out the door

yaya won't stay if we get fabregas and fernando. no chance of it.
Makes it more likely. He'll want to win trophies. Anyway he's under contract

Re: Cesc Fabregas

Jimmy to Everton along with Barry and Villa/Lampard on loan til feb..... Wonder who we could trade for?

I think it's we're certainly in for him. This is a difficult transfer because of the Arsenal factor. Bottom line if they do come in, he will go there. I suspect City won't want this to drag out and will finalise it pre W/C. If it goes beyond that then I think we won't be involved.

Gooners aren't interested, we've got a free run

Re: Cesc Fabregas

Kolarov played for Lazio and would Roma match his wages? I'd be very sceptical that a player would leave the English Champions to play in Serie A especially for a hated rival of the team he used to play for. Wont happen.

Yeah sorry Tolm, should have phrased it better. If Kolarov is leaving then who do you expect to replace him at left back? Perhaps a late bid for Shaw/Moreno?

Just because Roma want Kolarov, doesn't mean it will happen.

He seems happy enough here and a new contract has been mooted.

It depends entirely on how much we want Benatia, because we don't have the cash flow for him and Fab.
