Maybe he is a talent he looks like a Pep CB but he must be missing a lot because his loans have been at lesser clubs he is not a youth player anymore and he is nowhere near the first team at some point we have to get rid why give him a new deal other than to make sure we get a few million in a years time

Not entirely against the idea of Anderlecht. The choice of the right club playing the right football for Delap’s development will be crucial. Playing for a team expected to win most weeks and the chance of experiencing European football, even if only the Conference League, might well be good grounding for him. And the level is probably comparable or better than the Championship?
Regarding Sandler, Raiola is his agent I think? So I would expect he would run his contract down. Disappointing given the patience we showed him through his many injuries. Actually thought he would be really good fit for Celtic who need defenders

Indeed. He’s talented enough to push for first-team football, but the pathway with us is currently blocked, albeit he actually looks quicker outside on the left than anyone ahead of him.

That would make sense. Even if he were to go to Germany, there’s no guarantee that he’dget sufficient game time to develop. Arguably, it’s better to train with elite players and get used to the rigors and expectations of a top team.

Hmmm.....mixed feelings,good that he gets to train with the first team,but he is far better than EDS football and needs a bigger challenge - hopefully frustration doesnt kick in.

Herrera injured apparently, a loan move I reckon maybe even deadline day. We are likely to get money for him next summer.

Porro is on a two year loan deal anyway, Sporting have the option to make it permanent but dont think they have a lot of money either so probably just wait and see how the second year of the loan goes.
