That Serbian kid, Stevanonic, is still in limbo. I imagine it's not easy to find a club after he tanked the past 3 loans in notoriously youth friendly leagues.

Plus some of the older academy lads might need to make the next step, notably the likes of Katongo & Sodje who are turning 21 next month.

The are so many "Marlos Moreno" cases, was easy to see that Stevanovic was going that same rute, if not going to be a late bloomer like Tosic, ilic etc. Was hyped since Utd was in the mix to sign him

Yeah otherwise there would be clubs getting around deals like that I guess. They would have long loans with big fees then low permanent transfer fees.

The guys who sort these contracts out aren't stupid. I don't know what the contract stipulates (and we probably never will) but all contingencies will be covered.
