The world is shrinking and while I don't fully understand CFG's strategy it seems to me that global publicity / visibility can do us no harm and may do us a lot of good.
A few years ago, someone said (tongue in cheek) that he'd know City had arrived when he turned on the news, saw some humanitarian disaster being played out and the kids besieging the UN aid trucks were wearing City shirts. Maybe this gets us a little closer.

I can't say buying all these teams gets me very excited. I support Man City not Melbourne, New York or Mumbai.

I prefer to let those who know more about running a successful business model be the judges of that.You can call it negativity, I would call it asking a legitimate question about City's international business strategy.
City's managerial focus and resources are being spread around the globe in the expectation that the whole becomes larger and each club benefits. That's extraordinarily difficult to do and most commercial companies which try this expensive expansion plan fail because they become overstretched and their management lacks focus on the local area in which they are operating.
Khaldoon is NOT alone in making these decisions so there are more than one pair of eyes,one pair of ears and more than one mouth and one brain looking at the more positive aspects than you or I can even begin to understand.
I also suspect that HH is more positive also.
It is NOT costing the ordinary fan a penny.
