Do people honestly think Bayern and Barca were happy about drawing us two years in a row? Surely they would have put us in Porto's group to keep us away from one of their darlings. Secondly, why would they give us pretty much the same group two years in a row? It's not good for the competition if it's repetitive, they will lose viewing figures if we get Bayern and CSKA again next year!

There is a lot of corruption in UEFA, but not in the Champions League draw!

Let's wait and see what top seed we get this time, we've passed the FFP shit but they can still make life difficult.

Without winning the group we may well yet again cop for a top team in the last 16 again as well.
 
It would help if some of our players stepped their game up and we beat the likes of Barca in the knockout stage and stop moaning.
 
We've had awful draws but plenty have teams with worse squads have performed better. It's time we did when it really matters. Winning our first 3 group games would help, as would winning home games. Whist we are at it keeping 11 men on the pitch and avoiding giving needless free kicks might make a difference!

Exactly, we all know what City are capable of in the Champions league. It's about time we shook this chip off our shoulder and took the competition by the horns - I'm still shocked at how star-struck we look when we come up against the likes of Barca and Bayern. We're not beneath them anymore!

Yes we are, do you really think our squad can match BM, RM and Barca.

Getting there if we sign KDB and Pogba.
 
As Dortmund haven't qualified I also wonder which German team gets paired with Bayern.

That's not really true is it, the first 2 years were tough but the 13/14 draw with Bayern, Plzen and CSKA was a piece of piss. Last season we just made it hard for ourselves with some crap performances.

Yes, I do.

Another way of looking at it is to look at recent finalists.

Juventus, Athletico, Dortmund, Chelsea.

Do you think our current squad is on a level with theirs? Because I do and they all did very well in the Champions league, if we got to a final, anything can happen!
