Thats the squad, I have highlighted what should be the starting lineup, Garcia allows to play either 3 at the back or 4 with him in front allowing Yaya to push on.

a starting line up with maicon out and lescott in is just in your brain

How do you think Maicon will do for City Mancio??

When did Maicon become a centre half, or Lescott a wing back ?

If you're going to further your agenda of slagging off English players, at least have the decency to hide it under a credible argument.

i'vnt any agenda against english players mate , i challenge you to find a my post against milner or barry. if any i may have an agenda against poor footballers , and i dont give a fuck if they are english or foreigners.

maicon isnt a center back , he'll play as full back . as center back i believe will play nastasic or garcia.

Kompany aside who is a better centre back than Lescott?

in fact we don't need cover for yaya and kompany , we need regulars who take the place of lescott and barry. we need to improve midfield and defense , not just covers.

Lescott was integral to our back 4 last season, and he was a stalwart in a back 4 that had the best defensive record in the league. I'm not sure why you or anyone else thinks he needs replacing. It isn't supermarket sweep as our owners proved this summer, you have to make the best of the tools/squad you have and not constantly be looking for players to replace simply for the sake of it.

Lescott will start FAR more matches than Maicon and Nastasic combined. Bookmark this post if you doubt me.

So your saying play Maicon at CB?

Mancio is fighting a personal vendetta against Lescott.

I've seen him slagging JL on here before.

we'll see mate , we'll see ;-)

Lescott also compliments Kompany.

They seem to have a great understanding which is just as important as being as good as they are.

Correct!

Centre-back partnerships take time to develop, IMHO, so as well at dovetailing nicely, as one is left-footed and the other right-footed, they have formed a good understanding over the last couple of seasons or so.

We've already seen. Lescott's made nearly a hundred appearances under Mancini. We've not even come close to replacing him. Nevermind that there's very few players out there that could replace him. He may not be world class with the ball at his feet, but as a defender he's part of one of the toughest partnerships in Europe. It's delusional for anyone to think that Javi Garcia is going to play centre half ahead of him, nevermind Maicon.

I'm very happy with the squad overall. A few people were talking about leaving Sinclair out the other day, whilst that was never going to happen it's nice to finally see it on paper.

Spot on.

Thiago Silva has been part of a back 4 which has looked amateurish so far this season at PSG. As you say, centre half partnerships need time to develop, need an understanding, and need trust. Lescott and Vinny have that abundance.

maicon will never play center back , i dont know from where you have got this one.

meanwhile mancini has tried during all summer to replace lescott , also my dog know this. unfortunally we wasnt able to get thiago silva nor agger and maybe nastasic will be gave time to adjust but lescott end is wrote. and you know what i'm saying is true.

He wasn't looking to replace Lescott, he was looking to add another decent player.

Kolo and Savic played in 39 games between them last season and just aren't good enough any more (well not that Savic ever was for us but Kolo in his day was what we needed).

I would of liked to seen Kolo there abit worried looking at the defence..

kolo remove from the list is a bit like admitting that we will often play with the 3 men defense
