Champions League 5th/6th May

Please post reasons we should dislike Barca and/or reasons we should dislike Munich so I can make up my mind.

The match tonight is a tantalising prospect. Two of the worlds best. Probably the two best.

After a slight stutter mid-season* Barcelona are well and truly on song as their season ends and look capable of finishing off this weakened Bayern squad over the two legs.

The trident of Neymar/Messi/Suarez is surely an unbeatable attack in world football. The midfield looks as solidly assured as ever and the defence is more than capable.

Clearly Guardiola will be desperate to get his team playing well tonight and praying for that all important away goal.

* the process of getting Suarez properly integrated from October ( after serving his bite ban) took several weeks as I'm sure most of you noticed.

May l remember most on here who blame Pellegrini we were unlucky enough to have player Both these teams last year and This year? 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 would not have mattered. They are above us and above every team in Europe. Still Pellegrini was naive. So are all other coaches who got beat by these teams. And of Bayern get beaten l wonder is that because Pep was naive? And we had injuries as well vs Barcelona ...

Does Jamie La do it deliberately? He's surrounded by people who are pronouncing Lewandowski's name correctly. Yet he still persists in saying LevwanDOWski, rather than LewandOFFski. Is he on a WUM mission, or is he just the archetypal thick scouse twat?

Cretin Central.

Ex racing drivers talk about their sport = fascinating and technical
Ex golfers = again technical and insightful
Ex rugby players = technical and perceptive
Ex tennis players = sagacious and sapient
All articulate too

Ex footballers - Henry, Rednapp Carragher = boring, obvious, dull, contradictory, inarticulate.
No wonder Neville appears to be the Venerable Bede of football pundits.
