Will there ever come a time when the negative publicity about our club outweighs the positive aspects in our owners owning Manchester City ?
This negativity about our owners and the U.A.E is constant and i don't think it will ever go away

I think any threat of sanctions by UEFA would be met with an injunction from City then it goes to court

We know from the leaks that they were prepared to go to law, I doubt they would hesitate this time and with an even stronger case

I think so too. At that point, I think it's a matter of nerve.
I think the law is dependent on the legality of FFP, and not the numbers/emails involved.

What you have to realise is we did something to football that euefa the fa,rag fans, and the dippers didn’t want. We became competitors, we could compete on a equal footing with the elite of the English premier league and Europe. The monopoly had been broken instead of Arsenal Chelsea Rags Dippers you had little old no history Manchester City upsetting the applecart.all of a sudden one of their places in the champions league was under threat. The good our owners have done in the community gets forgotten about conveniently that’s very rarely brought up. I blame us as a club for a lot what goes on we’ve just let the press sky bbc etc say what they like then welcome them to the ground with hospitality etc instead of standing up to the fuckers years ago and saying enough is enough. I hate saying this but taggart wouldn’t have let it happen at the swamp.I don’t think it will ever go away the seeds have been planted and the tree has grown no matter who comes in to invest in any premier league club it will be us who inevitably will be the team that ruined football. I’m waiting for the Newcastle deal to go through you watch how different that will be. Long suffering fans deserve investment great club 50,000 every week etc.So yes unfortunately our owners will be targeted as well as our club for many years to come. But does it matter not a bit we know our history we know what our owners have done for us as a club and the area around the ground. I for one will always be very grateful they came into our lives.

Any organisation has to be abide by the law, they can't just decide to beat up on a club because they feel like it. Due process has to be followed.

I can't believe anyone seriously thinks it would be a good thing to be banned from the CL. There won't be any positives from it at all.

They had chances, but we were never at the level of the elite teams in Europe before.
70m is not a tiny amount. It buys you the most expensive player in our squad.

Not sure City are anyway. There's a difference between United and Liverpool fans screaming at how unfair it all is that they aren't dominating, and other supporters who are acutely aware of how it's been rigged in favour of the big clubs for 30 years. That's why they tend to (for now) prefer to see City win the league than Liverpool, for example.
