Champions league draw 29th August 2019 - Group C (Shakhtar, Zagreb, Atalanta)

Do not care about the draw in any shape or form, we can beat any of the teams in this now.

I was thinking that too. Top seeds has taken the fear factor away. We can draw Real Madrid, or Atletico but very difficult if not impossible to construct a group where you wouldn't fancy City to go through.

It is very important though for the Premier League that we can get the Champions League Group qualification sown up asap. And a bonus if Liverpool find themselves mired in trouble.

Can't draw 2 teams from the same country, but I get what you mean. Hoping for Slavia Prague, unsure if I'd go but it'd be one hell of a trip for our fanbase.

Would prefer to avoid At. Madrid and Dortmund but otherwise not too fussed. And that's mainly because they have wide players in form. More bothered about where and when, than who.

As soon as we know whether the first game is Tuesday or Wednesday, home or away, then that's what is important to me.

Well, I'd love to draw them now. Get to see the San Siro before it's gone and with all due respect to Atalanta, they aren't (on paper at least) as good a side as Inter.

That's more than debatable.

Atalanta finished above inter last season.

Don’t even have to beat them. Can afford to lose a couple or draw up to 5-6 games and still qualify in second place.

Unless something went drastically wrong, we’ll qualify from any group we get in these days.

Benfica in the 1st game week away would be the perfect for me and the wife as we're in Portugal for that week anyway. Would just require us to extend our holiday by a few days and rig a flight from Faro.

Failing that, Inter Milan would be a good one. See City play in the San Siro before it's no more.
