Correct.

UEFA will decide the order the teams play.

Not sure what the criteria will be.

We’ve got tougher than average away games and easier than average home games. It guarantees we make the playoff at worst but does mean we are going to need some big away results to get in the top 8 and automatically go through.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we won all 8.

PSG away will be tough, but Juve aren’t as good as they were.

Think people are overrating Juventus and PSG, started the season well but they don't have a team anywhere near our level.

I agree about Juve, but PSG certainly does. On paper only, you could probably argue they have the most talent in Europe bar us.

Villa and Celtic have easier games. Weird format this. PSG have tough ones.

It really isn’t more interesting. The top 24 reach the knockouts, so many games will be dead rubbers and big clubs will need to lose 5/6 to go out.

Its been designed to reduce the number of shock exits and keep all of the big boys in the competition until at least the first knockout round.

Top 8 reach the knockouts, next 16 play a 2 legged qualifier to get to the knockouts. The league placing determines the draw for KO phase and the higher up gives teams an advantage, 1st and 2nd won't meet until the final and so on, the way the teams were drawn is not the order the games will be played, so definitely not dead rubbers.

So pot 1 means you get the harder draws

Pot 1 just means you are a good team. Everyone faces 2 teams from each pot, even us. So it’s just luck really whether you get the easier or tougher teams from a particular pot, as has always been the case.
