You can't go by that though as their coefficients are purely on European performances where the Europa League and the CL are regarded as equal.

Much better to go by the average ECI of each group and I'd guess ours would be 1st or 2nd....if anyone has the time to add them up!

I have done a spreadsheet with each group. the ECI ranking for each team, the total ECI points for the group and an average of the top two and bottom two and the difference between those two average figures.

I can't post it as the formatting goes wrong. If anyone knows how to do this or sends me an address, I am happy to share it.

Hard draw for you tbh - but being in pot 3 it was always likely to happen I guess.

Munich are a difficult team <insert usual german football stereotype here> and very accustomed to european football.

Italian football is very poor at the minute, dont let their CL success fool you from a couple of seasons ago.

Apart from the top 2 in spain, the rest could be classed as poor versions of Arsenal (or copy of Arsenal now!).......but, I have had a good time everytime we have played in vila-real - i'm sure you will enjoy it there!

Can't see you struggling tbh - the champions league really starts in February!
