And this could have ramifications. No way can those 'elite' clubs be happy with this draw model.

Last year Madrid got Dortmund, Bayern got Atletico and Barca got us and Borussia.

A lot of powerful clubs in vulnerable positions. No way they aren't thinking how to improve their situation in future draws.
 
Best draw we've had. Not a walk over by any means, but we're favourites. First time I've seen Chelsea get a tough draw, they're worse than United when it comes to that usually - United & L'pool got lucky. Spurs, well, good luck.
 
James Horncastle (Italian football expert) was touting Napoli as serious contenders to Juventus for the Serie A title this season so the they will be tough opposition (much like they were in 2012/13).
 
Time we really stamped our Mark in a group stage now. If this was Bayern under Pep with this group they'd win every match except maybe Napoli away. Our squad and manager are good enough that we should aim for similar dominance in this group.

Think us City fans underestimate our squad sometimes. Don't think Shakhtar/napoli are happy drawing us and we really should win this group.
 
Last time United faced Benfica and Basel in the UCL stage group they finished 3rd and got relegated to EL.

That said, we're atrocious these days so don't count on us to humiliate the rags.
 
What's taking them so long in releasing the fixture dates ... usually they come out pretty quick after the draw ????
