I thought they were guaranteed pot 3?

On the face of it the new seedings are a step in the right direction but for the champions of the leagues with more teams it's not great. The champions of England will have a limited choice from pot 2. There's a high chance they'll get a spanish team from pot 2 and vice versa the spanish champions have a far greater chance of facing one of the English teams.

I don't understand why they don't just get rid of seedings completely, the very definition of it means it favours the established elite. The champions league would be infinitely more enjoyable if it were a completely open draw. If it means a group of death and some of the bigger teams going out then so be it.

Why boring ? every trip has been great. Last year was a bit embarrassing that we only took 1,500 with Bayern fans sat in the City bit.
