The problem with picking the Turkish runners up to replace Fenerbahce is that Trabzonspor, the team that finished second, have been implicated in the match fixing scandal too.
UEFA will replace Fenerbahce with someone, they won't let one of the groups have 3 teams. It will be a travisty if they pick the highest coefficient side not in Europe at all to replace them, as it's Liverpool. They shouldn't be allowed in on past "glories", they've already sneaked in once before despite not officially qualifying.
If they go with letting the highest coefficient loser qualify (potentially Arsenal) doesn't that just pass the problem on to the Europa League as that will now have 1 too few?
