The two main concerns with Inter for me are:

1. The unknown factor. We have not had a good reference game in the CL knockouts to judge them from and when you look at their league form, whilst it has been fantastic since the last international break, they have lost 12 games this season and wanted the manager sacked at some point in the season.

Yet, they statistically average the best XG in Serie A I think and have more shots per game than we do. Clean sheet wise they have been good in the CL this season also.

2. Their style of play and setup is what you would say is our kryptonite. 5 at the back defensive block, 2 forwards with quick counters and very effective and efficient at doing so.

The difference between Inter and the likes of Madrid, Bayern, Liverpool and Arsenal is that those teams have it in their philosophy to be assertive and attack the opponent. So we always knew there was going to be moments in those games where we would have clear opportunities to exploit. With Inter, it's the opposite as they will quite happily park a tank and play for penalities if need be, or counter efficiently when they can. Catenaccio style.
Inter is basically a souped-up version of Brentford. Pretty similar to Atletico, I think. So, yeah, not the ideal opponent.

Foden could be a major asset as a sub. He has been great at threading through passes behind the back line of parked buses, he was instrumental in breaking down Atletico last season, providing the assist for the only goal of the tie, and he doesn‘t seem to have a problem with high pressure games.
