Champions League Final | Istanbul Travel - Good to hear routes etc.

turkish guys always loved england..why do you say so? ok a terrible incident happened in 2000 between gs an leeds fans. by the way i am gala fan from stadium, i know the guys who involved in the incident. it was a terrible day for us. sorry for reminding it.
i came to manchester on april 2011 for utd fulham game. after the game, i was waiting for the bus to london in a pub near bus station with my friend. and drinking beer. there was a couple, we started to chat with them. great guys. then the conversation came to that incident. the guy was a friend of leeds fan who passed away. so sad.... i could not know what to say to him. i apologised a lot. but.0 what can you say?

TURKISH fans LOVE you. esp man city at the moment. all the teenagers are fans of man city. Turkish people are kind. we are waiting for you.
everyone will try to help you. you ll have a great time.

you do not have a bad reputation here. turkish people watch premier league more than turkish league. me also.

I didn't say Turkish people don't like English people. Plenty of English people holiday in Turkey and have a fantastic time. I have never been to Turkey, but I'm really looking forward to going. :-)

English football fans who follow the national team and their club teams probably still have a reputation across Europe of being trouble causers and misbehaving, which really isn't true anymore, compared to the Ultras from across Europe.

As a rule, bar isolated incidents when City fans were attacked first, City fans are very well behaved when they travel across Europe. Most of our support is made up of FOC's, (Fucking Old Cunts) like me. City fans would rather sit in a bar or pub drinking, talking and singing songs, rather than walking around in large groups chanting and looking for trouble like many of the Ultra groups do. City fans have often been praised for their good behaviour by the police and by the locals when they go abroad to follow City.

I don't see any problems bar City fans drinking the bars and pubs dry. I hope the Istanbul bar and pub owners where City fans congregate have plenty of beer in stock. :-)

Glad to read what Turkish people and Turkish football fans think of Manchester City and City fans. :-)

anyone know how to get a paper version of the ticket? Love the convenience of a mobile one, but would love the physical ticket for a memento.

Hi, would wearing a sky blue fez or tarboosh be seen as disrespectful and if it’s not, are they available to buy in Istanbul?
