i'm probably never going to be in line to get a City ticket, but i am going on holiday to Istanbul on Monday 12th June, wife booked it back in November. Flights out on the Thursday 8th are still £260.... might go and watch in some bars?! would it be a decent atmosphere in the city just to watch as a fan?

Booked birmingham to Istanbul direct Thursday morning till Monday afternoon with Turkish airlines. Held the price for £30 last week. £390 overall.

If you can get to Germany cheap, there's usually cheap return flights between there and Istanbul

I'm looking to do the same fella. Mrs had been going on and on about me not going, but my Dad - who has never been a big football fan but used to go to Maine Road on occasion messaged me last night and said "we going to Istanbul then?"

Took me by surprise but it's his 70th this year so I've talked about doing a trip with him and my mrs has bought into it now. Doubt we'll both get tickets but they have fan parks etc usually so will be good fun to be out there and I've not been to Istanbul before but he has!
