Ok tell me who is available to replace Pep?You sure?
An arrogant egotist that freezes in the biggest games, refuses to change or play his best players, constantly tinkers and has been “found out” and we want him to stay?
I don’t
We're all seething but it isn't as simple as Chelsea "having our number" because a football team is a group of human beings, not computers or other machines. We'll never know how our "best elevn" would have fared and I presume by "best eleven" you mean the starting eleven against Dortmund and PSG and that the real criticism is the absence of Ferna until the 65th minute. It's actually a point I agree with but I am in no position to argue with Pep. And if we look at the QF and SF teams it was Rodri who played in 3 of them. So the criticism becomes that neither started last night and as you say we'll never know what would have happened if one of them had BUT we must remember that of the matches we have lost this season (and they are few) about half have seen Ferna and Rodri BOTH in the team, so the balance is a fine one. Pep's argument is that City had to dominate midfield to dominate possession to win the match and this was most likely with an attacking formation and to my mind there is more evidence to explain that our failure was due to the poor form of every member of the team rather than a structural weakness. We can't say that any player had other than a very poor game and I, personally, don't believe that "playing a slightly different game than they would normally" accounts for the massive gap in performance between last night and the rest of the season. I'm just giving my opinion, I'm not trying to argue because we are all seething that we were so confident at kick off time and it all went so horribly wrong and this morning I felt confused and angry. And we're all Blues who've been through worse than losing a CL final.Exactly. That's why I'm still seething. Even though it was only one player out it meant most of the other players were playing a slightly different game than they would normally.
As someone has already posted, Chelsea may well have our number and our best 11 may well have been beaten. That starting 11 that Pep put out last night may well have been the best line-up to win the game. But we'll never know.
However, had our best 11 been beaten I could have lived with that and not be thinking we shot ourselves in the foot.
Chelsea were by far the better team and fully deserved to win, sadly.
Why are you taking what I posted so personally?
You can think whatever you want mate, but quite frankly I’m fucking tired of reading how much this forum hates pep, and the hysterical things people say about about and then cower behind the “we’re allowed to be upset because he didn’t pick who I would”
PearceOk tell me who is available to replace Pep?
I don’t want him to leave so why is it my job?Ok tell me who is available to replace Pep?
There isnt one imoI don’t want him to leave so why is it my job?
personally I regard him as the best coach in world football, evidently many people on this website agree, I’m asking them to provide better candidates
I get that fella! You should check out the front page of bluemoon, and see that thread that’s popped up.I just don't get it mate when happy clappers come on here telling fans they can't be pissed off when we lose like we did last night. If there is idiots on here who HATE Pep then they need to have a word with themselves and go look at what he's won with us. Best manager in the world.
Haha the timingI get that fella! You should check out the front page of bluemoon, and see that thread that’s popped up.
I don’t want to call myself a soothsayer, but spooky huh?
