100% correct - this is why we bought Mahrez - fact is if we had Sane or a Robben on the flanks we would have got behind them but we got nothing down our right wing and when we did on the left we didn't create good enough final passes. The middle is clogged, so you have to go wide. If their wide defenders have better games, you struggle. Chelsea under Tuchel. Lyon last year. Several other games which we've managed to win after a struggle.
Nothing we can say can change what has happened. It is set in stone so we will just have to live with it.
Losing a game can happen, that's football, but to be utterly toothless for 97 minutes needs to be looked at seriously in the next few weeks and a plan devised to address it so it doesn't happen again. Easier said than done I am sure.
