totally agree. the madrid player goes in for a challenege and is deemed to have ‘played it’ but fabinho’s appears to have been classed as a deflection which was the same action

Fabinho was clearly trying to play the ball (although in a clumsy way), that doesn’t count as a rebound or deflection in my book. Still, it shows Madrid are capable of scoring.
