Was out with a Brentford supporter last night and at some point it became clear about the kick off issue. Before I could add my views he'd said "always the victims yet never to blame". Not just us who have this view of them. No coincidence that wherever they go there are issues. Not their fault though la.

Could be wrong, but I can’t help suspecting that a full enquiry would turn up several slimy things under the rocks. And I mean to Liverpool’s disadvantage. Like no other, that set of supporters believe that the rules simply don’t apply to them. Or a significant segment of them, anyway.

Klopp should do the decent thing and resign. Most expensive goalie. Most expensive centre back. The best right back ever. The greatest forward line of all time. All that and still lost the big two! Do the decent thing Jurgen and fall on your sword
Also got the biggest teeth cup....

Didn't watch tge game or anything, but it does appear to me the Madrid fans got in ok and were ready for kick off.
60,000 scousers turning up for tge 'atmosphere' when only 20,000 had tickets tells its own story. I'm not going to mention a disaster in tge 80s at a Yorkshire ground for fear of retribution, but .... ...

Cry Like An Egyptian.

Of course, I’m small-minded enough to be basking in Liverpool’s salty tears today (like everyone else), but let’s consider the bigger picture for a moment. Real, who I have no great love for either while we’re about it, beat PSG, Chelsea, us and Liverpool. Undeniably impressive. History will record that they were the best team in Europe that year.
Seriously, does anyone on here actually believe that? Really?

Many times, in the past, it was actually the best team in Europe that won it. That great team of Gullit, Van Basten, Rijkaard is a case in point. Pep‘s Barca is another. But very often over the past twenty years I haven’t felt that the team that won has been the best. I should say that I can never be bothered with watching the final (with the obvious exception). The last time I watched it was 2005.
The club want it, our owners want it, the players want it, and not a few of our supporters want it. Fine. Each to his own.
But for myself, I can genuinely say that I’m indifferent to it.
Spot on. Winning something like a knockout competition doesn't prove you're the best, otherwise the same team would win everything in a season.

Manchester City are currently the best team in Europe. Our record in the toughest league over the last few seasons proves that beyond doubt.
