Champions League Final | Ticket Criteria | SOLD OUT

Surely not.
Non seasoncard holders getting tickets ahead of seasoncard holders?
Someone with over 20k points could just have easily got a ticket & passed it on to someone who's rarely been to a game. Unless you have names on tickets and those names are checked, there's no way to stop anyone passing on a ticket to another person.

But when City Matters tried to do something about it, by having a handful of people pick up their tickets, everyone moaned like fuck.

I’d understand giving it away, but selling it? Seems a bit of a cunty thing to do.
I read - second hand - of fans trying to sell access codes for £500-£1000, and another of trying to sell a ticket for £2000. Probably a lower category ticket too. It could be bollocks but personally knowing the one allegedly selling a ticket for £2000, all I will say is that I wouldn’t put it past that fucker!

How many supporters club members don’t even have a seasoncard but have a ticket for the final?
My son falls into this category, I admit. He's 14, been a member since he was days old, now unable to get a season ticket, been to over 30 matches this season, all home CL games, all but one FA Cup and quite a few aways. I'd say he deserves one, even if he can't get on the season ticket ladder - there's lots of things unfair about ticketing IMO.

To answer the second question, I think it will have been a high percentage. I know of people who did it.

If what is being reported is true - that 7,000 were siphoned off for the OSC and the club - the remaining 13,000 have nearly all sold out at the end of the cup scheme criteria. We've had people say that there are 14.5k - 18k people on the cup scheme. Without knowing how many cup scheme members will be at the final, it becomes difficult to predict how many codes were passed on. But if half of the cup scheme members were to be in Istanbul, it's not inconceivable that 4-6,000 could have done it.

It's been all over here, Facebook and Twitter. People passing codes on. Worse offence than OSCs in my opinion, at least a good proportion of OSC members will be seasoncard holders.

It's a shame it has come to this though, blues point scoring against other blues about who's more entitled to a ticket. I think this has sold quicker than any of us expected it to.

Liverpool published the % split for their final last year and there were only 16% in Cat 2 so about 3k tickets. City didn't specify but imagine it would be similar.
These must all have been snapped up pretty quickly hence the roaming gangs of “Parisian youths” trying to gain access to the stadium illegally

Because I’ve got no idea what they were called. I was just talking in the hotel bar and asked them how they got their tickets and this is what they told me. They knew it was a joke themselves but they are hardly going to stop the gravy train.
Did you not ask for their passports mate? Ha ha ignore the bollocks on here pal. Everyone knows it goes on and this chap is branch chair of an OSC lol

My sister has 23,000 points but didn’t join the cup scheme as she was expecting.
After she gave birth she’s been to the CL games.
She will probably not get a ticket now.

Everyone has a sob story.

Who is this guy that he manages to get hold of so many tickets for so many games. And we wonder why away games sell out at such high points. He also seems to have plenty of home tickets.
Miles Jupp tells a joke about him trying to buy a ticket for the final day‘s play of the 2005 Ashes series. He approached a ticket tout and asked him how much a ticket would cost. “How much will you pay?” said the tout. Jupp thought about it, decided he really wanted to get a ticket and said “no more than £250”. So the tout told him to wait a minute and then started shouting “I’ll pay £150 for a ticket”.

I think thats how it works.
