how would they know a city fan in no colours from a normal passanger?

They wouldn’t know, they’re just advising City fans use the buses to the Stadium and Inter fans use the metro.
If you wanted to take the metro to the stadium it wouldn’t be a problem, you just run the risk of trouble with Inter fans

It was mentioned on the SportsWorld page. It could be a mixed fanzone though after reading it again. This is what it says on there.

Yeah the river front was great. Though Porto in general is a bit safer than Istanbul.

Avoid that plastic fan zone like the plague. Stay in Taksim all day and simply get a taxi at 7pm to Atatürk. Use the BiTaksi App and it will take 40-50 minutes and cost circa 500TL. That is around £20, so £5 each for a full cab.

Gone a bit under the radar hasn't it. Absolutely shit that we're expected to plod to a stadium 20 odd miles away on buses while they get the metro. Fuck that.

7pm might be pushing it with the double whammy of Istanbul's traffic and UEFA's notoriously shit organization. Also someone earlier mentioned that taxis might have to drop off almost an hour's walk away from the ground.

Really good idea, but we have been warned about lack of pull up spots anywhere near the stadium. Just a heads up mate, could end up with a long walk to the ground once you get out the taxi.
