I said I didn't know who was to blame for a start but made a comment about football in general failing its punters. In this case, it is likely to be the game's authorities.

When UEFA made the Porto announcement last week, they said the clubs could start selling tickets that same day!

Think the club could have been a bit more open about the problem they are obviously having with the failure of UEFA to get all assurances to what Portugal restrictions would be and they clearly signed up possibly too early but the thing is to the outside world all of the fans like me who booked early won’t get reported and I will have to decide to cancel my booking and go on a sheep herd of a day trip or go as planned and not get a ticket. The delay from the club to announce anything can only in my opion be a good thing as they are still trying to fight the corner of fans like me who have already booked it, packed it, ready to fook off

Apologies for the misunderstanding then, thought it was directed at our club as they released a sponsorship email rather than ticket news.

Yesterday they said they would release details today regarding ticket and travel arrangements - it’s now 19:10 and still nothing. I just think they would have made an announcement earlier in the day if everything was ironed out. If there are complications I don’t blame the club, it must be a difficult job agreeing and corroborating all of the details with UEFA and the Portuguese authorities, it isn’t straight forward. The delinquency just makes me believe new issue have arisen that need to be discussed further. Only my opinion - I hope I’m wrong and the announcement is made tonight so I’m not checking this thread every few minutes! [emoji23]

Or they don't want to release it during the game as they will get grief for that from some?

Just heard that it’ll be collect in destination on the ticket front. I know PSG was a bit of a trek and the weather in Glasgow was shite but I think asking us to collect our CL tickets from Istanbul is another level of piss taking altogether!
