Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

Bit of patience, it'll be alright.

Lets wait and see what the club have to say and not panic and speculate. See how the next few days go and May 17th sounds like a big day (not just because the pubs here are open properly!)

The main reason Portugal agreed to host was to welcome tourists and give a boost to their hotel and leisure industry, just hold your nerve.

But they have that boost already with people pre booking before the official anouncement so don't need to change a thing.

I'm ok with the government not making quarantine exceptions for thousands of people. Not when so many people have lost so much in the last 12 months.
The mess is at the foot of EUFA and the government. The answer was no supporters at all.

They can't communicate if they haven't been given any info.
everything is arse about face, we have been in european competition for 13 years, it's common knowledge that fans will attempt to get the best deals, every eventuality should have been covered, the most dedicated fans are being led up the garden path time and again. I can guarentee there are lots of people spending over the odds with money they can ill afford to waste, just to be met with barriers and bad news. 500-600 quid may not mean a lot to those at uefa and city, but to the people going it's a huge amount of money, they deserve far far better than this charade

Its largely the British and one large Irish based airlines that have thus far. Maybe TAP the Portuguese airline has had a bit.

I haven't spent a penny in any of their bars and restaurants yet, and my hotel can be freely cancelled. They've had nothing from me, and they are crying out for it.

Plenty of teams play in the Champions League that are not in the EU.
Stop politicising what is essentially a fucking corruption from the European Governing Body of football.

Noticeably not based within the EU but based in Switzerland. Go figure!

Switzerland aren't in the EU, I wonder if the Swiss UEFA delegates and hangers on will be subject to the same rules? Have to laugh really, right in our faces and they couldn't give a fuck. Scum.

Here’s the latest from Portugal.

Mini Update: May 13th / 18:15pm- The ‘Announcement’

We had been told there would be an announcement today after the council of ministers meeting this afternoon – and there was, but thus far nothing related to travel changes has been announced. The official copy of todays meeting minutes has just been published on the GovPT website (here) which clarifies various updates to the domestic situation only.

During the press conference, the minister was asked regarding flights to the UK (and the UEFA final visitors), with the answer basically being – “discussions are ongoing but there currently is not an update from the Council of Ministers yet”. The current travel decree ends on the 16th May (and will be renewed in some form, as it is every 2 weeks – the question is will the UK be on it), so there will certainly be an announcement before the 16th one way or another – sorry for those waiting for this news.

The BBC have reported that entry restrictions have been extended until the 30th, which is factually wrong (at this time anyway), as what has been extended until May 30th is the ‘State of Calamity’ which was to be expected as we have been in a state of something or other (Emergency, Calamity, or Alert) since March last year and will likely be in one until the pandemic ends. This is separate from the travel/flight decree, which is what we will have an update on before the 16th.
