Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

Nothing has been confirmed or dismissed by the Portuguese authorities. UEFA said they hoped the bubble would be removed and independent travelling fans could go to the match but it all depends on the Portuguese Government agreeing and at this time 14 days away, they hold ALL the cards.
I wonder what else could have been done differently? Maybe find all this out in advance of deciding Portugal? Nah. What a stupid idea that would be

No, what I meant was that fans could travel independently and still attend the game but would nevertheless be required to enter a bubble on the day of the game itself by turning up at a fanzone.
That would defeat the object of a bubble if people were free to join it having been swanning around Porto and wider Portugal for a few days, and then go on to retrace their steps on the way home.

There will be fanzones (there were in Madrid for Liverpool and Spurs) but if we're allowed to travel independently, you won't be forced to go to it.

So you're saying it's a case of all bubble or free-for-all?

Nobody knows, including the club at this moment.

Consensus seems to be independent travel will be ok, but Portuguese authorities want to minimise that a bit by encouraging traveling with the club.

Time will tell, but calm until told

If as a country you are allowing tens of thousands of visitors to arrive every single day for holidays and tourism from Monday you’ve made the decision it’s safe to allow pre tested visitors into your country so how does making a few thousand go to a fan zone make any sense at all?

Not saying I disagree, but why are discussions still ongoing? We're allowed in, so what is the hold-up with announcing ticket details? There is surely nothing to discuss if there won't be any bubbles.

Isn’t 6,000 people booking a Covid test at roughly the same time in the same area going to be problematic
