A Saturday departure … you brave man … you’ll probably be circling Porto for 4 hours trying to get a slot in-between the 60 charters booked by City & Chelsea, not to mention the endless line of UEFA private jets :O

I’m flying out on the morning of Saturday 29th! Can’t go any earlier due to work. At least Porto Airport isn’t the largest so there won’t be too many other flights.

A few days old, but an indication of number of independent fans perhaps.

I think the Jet2 and transavia flights are the Spike flights, as those routes aren't available on the respective websites.

Don't know where he gets information so don't know how many are booked on the day itself. I guess if a company had put in 30 slot requests then it would be a bit of a give away.

Paris the hotel was a wee trek from anywhere and in Glasgow it was pissing down and most of the queuing was outside

Thing is - that was to solve a different issue.
there was a lot of concern that fans were buying tickets to pass on to others. So people jumped up the points queue.
I didn’t think it was an issue in Paris and didn’t remove the ribbon they put in your wrist until we had safely got through the second leg.
I understand matters were a real pain in Glasgow as so many travelled up on the day instead of the day before, as in Paris.
Not saying that there IS a load of passing on of tickets but strangely I got a ticket for Paris and was NOWHERE near eligible a month later in Madrid.
