I read it as city will offer travel to supporters who qualify for tickets, but that this wouldn’t be compulsory. If it was then surely they would have stated this in the Press release. As people are saying, if it is compulsory they would have under 10 days to organise travel and transfers for 6000 people! Given it took 4 days to announce the ticket sale date I would say this is beyond them..

It is strange though easyJet prices have dropped 200 or so today to around 360
Possibly as most fans travelling independently are already booked or waiting for ticket confirmation and were put off with £700 return prices.
