Cheers robsta but to be honest I couldn’t cope with trying to contact supporter devices again. I doubt I’d get me easy jet fare back, accommodation was £90 for 2 nights, I will have a more relaxed trip and meet up with 4 old mates. Would rather spend the £400 than try and ring out Supporter Disservice’s team again

Worth noting that all of the seat counts do not include the restricted view seats - in the blocks that are available there are 165 restricted view showing but not available to buy - i think these will be released once all normal tickets are sold. There will almost certainly be more in the blocks that are sold out. So potentially another 200 to go at.
 
Anyone struggling to get through to talk to someone at the ticket office, use the live chat function on the ticket portal - you speak to a real person based in the ticket office, sorted my query within 5 mins of chatting through the live chat instant message function
Genius ... Thanks mate. I've been unable to reach anyone in the ticket office by phone since yesterday. Got my answer in 5 mins using the chat.
 


I used Collinson at MAN airport for £82.50 and result took 22 hours. You can get for £66 if you’re on Spike’s trip

But I think the Blindspot deal as set up by Kevin / the OSC is the best option as it’s arranged for this specific trip and is only £125 for 2 PCRs
Blindspot option looks a good option but confusing they say you can drop off from 6am on Thursday but info with flight from City says test needs to be after 1pm on Thursday
 
My experiences of City Supporter Services over the last 2 days

1. Yesterday early morning had query on kids loyalty points, took 50 mins to get through, but all sorted, service good, website shit

2. My ticket window opened at 3 pm, ticket bought by 3:04 pm but not sure if others had the same issue but it didn’t tell me which travel options were available and which I had selected, so rand supporter services at 3:95 as number 70 in the queue, an hour and 40 minutes later I got to number 1 in the queue, got told this 3 times, and then at 16:40 it just said “thank you, goodbye” and I was cut iff

3. Last night I was completely unaware whether I was on City plane as I wanted or not, so sent 2 emails to the club, as of yet no response, but appreciate they are busy. Decided to cover my options and book a return flight to Porto and 2 days accommodation, but left all night shitting it as to whether my ticket would end up in a club plane without me

4. Spent 2 hours on the phone this morning but did actually get through. Politely mentioned yesterday’s problems and was met with a response of what do you expect me to do about that? Supporter/Customer Services indeed! Mentioned the website issues and the fact that others may be having the same issues, and she was completely disinterested, customer service?! Anyway they are posting my ticket out but I am now a few hundred quid down but get 2 days in Porto, but I can just about afford that, others maybe not.

Not for the first time City’s website, phone network, staffing levels and customer service have in my view left a lot to be desired. On the upside I eventually have a ticket and travel sorted so I suppose I am very grateful, but there must be better ways of treating CUSTOMERS.

Anyone else had similar issues?
Exactly the same issues regarding the travel mate, had to enter passport numbers on check out but only realised flights hadn’t gone through when a couple of posters on here (daveyboyblue and kippaxian) mentioned they had the same issues.

rang ticket office at 8am this morning, the guy was great & knew about this issue. He had to cancel my tickets and rebook the same ones with a flight at his end with a £10 booking fee. Since had the confirmation email to show I’m now booked for tickets and a flight thankfully.
 
Out of interest are you designated a flight home or is it just get to the airport and they will keep filling planes to everyone’s home?
