Champions League Final | Travel Requirements + COVID Tests

Am I correct in thinking that upon returning to England you need to have proof that you're booked in for a test, it doesn't actually say anywhere that you need to do a test?
You need to pay for it and get a code which goes on your passenger locator form to enable entry back into the UK

All the Dam health sites seem to be booked up now.

anyone booked anything this morning, ideally Manchester, Salford or Trafford?

thinking of going for the blindspot £125 drop off option now due to lack of available options, just didn’t fancy the whole “faceless” aspect of dropping it off in a bar in town and blindspot saying they would get back to you - anyone else on this option? Have you received your testing kit yet & how long did it take to get to you?

Sorry for all the questions blues - this is a headf**k to sort out!! :)

Could someone advise on 2 points

1. I am in Porto for 3 days which means my PCR test will have lapsed, so I think I need to get a second (antigen test) in Porto before I can fly back? Do I need to book this in advance or can I just turn up somewhere in the Saturday morning?

2. I have to do an online declaration which I can only do 4 days in advance to travel to Portugal (so can do later today) but my understanding is the uk one is a max 48 hours before I come back to uk, so is this ok to do online in Porto, and you don’t need a hard copy of it? Not taking a fucking printer with me!
Loads of places do rapid testing in Porto, Synlabs and GermanoDeSousa being two companies off the top of my head. You can book if you want (Not at the airport kiosk that is walk ins only) alternatively Spike has said there will be rapid testing in one or two of the sports options hotels.

As far as im aware you dont need a printed copy of your return to UK form as its now linked to your passport but border force may ask to see a digital copy just to check you have booked your return test.

Your same day PCR fit to fly should cover you for return if not a €30 lat flow in Porto will do it

One of spikes hotels has a test station over there for the return in case

Pre- book a two day test posted to your house with everything genetic for £59
Lot of places are getting booked up I’ve been told

Just been for my PCR test (flying on Wednesday AM). Somewhat underwhelmed with the service given it cost £99, but if they send the email saying negative it doesn't matter too much.

Need to find a LFT in Porto on Friday, but hoping thats the final hoop to jump through.

Far too many uncertainties about whether it’s 3 days or 72 hours, I’m going with the 72 hours which means I need a test in Porto to get home. Don’t fancy the hassle of going to a lab when I’m on the piss so have booked a virtual online test on the Saturday morning with a company called Calendy for £39. Just waiting for the test kit to arrive and I’ll be happy.

The travel locator does need to be completed 48 hours before the return flight, I’ve had a dabble with it on my iPad and I’m confident you can complete it when you’re there and download it.
Sorry the company should read Calendly

Right, I have booked a same day PCR for 12pm Thurday for £175. I fly Friday morning and return Sunday. I've also now booked the 2 day test for £59 which I believe is being posted. Can anybody reassure me that I'm done? What if nothing comes through from everything Genetic? What proof will I get that I have this test booked?
