I nearly moved on after the unctuous opening words about the red Colyseum etc but l am so so happy l watched it all.
Just a shame that there were not enough close ups of Klopp and those famously sporting liverpool fans as the third, fourth and fifth goals went in.
Pointyman sounded a bit like that spoof commentator crying at Palace.

How do you explain Atletico second and third goal? Second goal Atletico score through two Liverpool defenders legs. Third goal it was a sad one vs one with Adrian. So where the bleep were all your defenders at? Including your so call world class defender Van Dick.

And what I admire Atletico is they deal well under pressure, look at all those waves after waves after waves of Liverpool attack, yet their defenders still stand. Even after 2-0 down Atle defenders still stand.
YET when Dippers lost the first goal, they start to enter panic mode and crumble to the ground. This was what lead to Atle second and third goal. ALL 3 of Atle goal were in extra time.

Liverpool, you good at attack,but then you can't deal with pressure. You shouldn't crumble like that once Atle got their first away goal. Laugh at Atletico defense all you want, but they through.

Not many teams can deal with 90 minutes waves after waves of attack by Liverpool running at your nonstop, but Atletico didn't phase, they actually seem calm. It like they built to absorb pressure or something.
