Absolutely. Real time is much more reliable in determining cause and effect.Yep when reviewing the var law should be the referee watches it in real time.

It can be ....if you want it to be , that’s the point , it’ll be used when needed for certain clubs .Exactly. IMO neither Ota's or that tonight could ever be described as intentional. As a defender what the hell are you meant to do with your arms, take them off ?? I acknowledge it may sometimes be difficult to tell whether there is intent or not, but one defender obviously trying to get his arm out of the way, and another jumping and turning away from the ball with his arm by his side cannot be intentional handball.
Now we've got dodgy officials engineering outcomes for their handlers.
Possibly. Hockey punishes any contact with the foot in the area but the penalty corner isn't as harsh a sanction as a penalty in football. They could give an indirect free kick for incidents like tonight, a penalty for blatantly deliberate handball and just award a goal for a hand blocking the ball on the line ala Suarez v Ghana in 2010. They could just skip the middle option and either award an indirect free kick or a goal. It would still need to be refereed consistently though which is where the real problem is at the moment.
I always kept my arms behind my back at free kicks, as did mates. Covering your bollocks was asking to have the piss mercilessly taken out of you. Mind you most of us played hurling as well so we weren't afraid of a football.
That'd be great, but PSG were also an "old G14 established club" not "newcomers".
Yes NEXT FUCKING SEASON! Why have they arbitrarily decided to bring it in this season without actually telling anyone? Assuming they have brought it in already. I’ll believe they have when a decision like that happens to Barca, liverpool or united. The handball rule is being changed for next season, it’s sometning like if it hits your hand outside your silhouette, regardless of if it’s deliberate or not, it’s a pen. Not sure if it’s been confirmed or if it’s across all competitions or not but it just sounds like it hits your hand in the box and it’s a pen.
How the hell does a ref tell the hand is outside a players silhouette? In this instance, what the fuck would be the silhouette?
It's clear PSG and City are not allowed to win this competition.
