Now we've got dodgy officials engineering outcomes for their handlers.Much prefer the days when the ref and Lino do not have a clue so they’re forced to make a totally guess decision.

Possibly. Hockey punishes any contact with the foot in the area but the penalty corner isn't as harsh a sanction as a penalty in football. They could give an indirect free kick for incidents like tonight, a penalty for blatantly deliberate handball and just award a goal for a hand blocking the ball on the line ala Suarez v Ghana in 2010. They could just skip the middle option and either award an indirect free kick or a goal. It would still need to be refereed consistently though which is where the real problem is at the moment. You talking indirect free kick?
Said this last night, we should be beating Schalke obviously, but if they get an early goal who knows, I'll worry about who we get in the next round next next Friday, once I know we're in it.Well lads....we are not through yet...so we really need to get behind the lads from the very start next week. The first goal is so so important.
I always kept my arms behind my back at free kicks, as did mates. Covering your bollocks was asking to have the piss mercilessly taken out of you. Mind you most of us played hurling as well so we weren't afraid of a football. It's going to be fun at free kicks. Everyone will be playing go for the bollocks, because we know what's usually covering them.
We’ve been fucked over more than most by referees but VAR is not the answer, we’re already seeing it used very dubiously for & against certain club s, allied with the time it can take it’ll change the game forever for me , next season will be farcical.Much prefer the days when the ref and Lino do not have a clue so they’re forced to make a totally guess decision.
There has to be intention. Now I don't think there is any intention. The rule of thumb is hand to ball is pen, rather
than ball to hand.
I thought Ota's was more of a pen than that where the lad wasn't even looking. The way it is with VAR they might asweas just say if it touches someomsom hand it's handball. As there was no way that was deliberate but they're being given most of the time now.
That'd be great, but PSG were also an "old G14 established club" not "newcomers".PSG done over like a kipper , old G14 established club beat nouvreau rich newcomers
Just repeating this.
