You can go through the mistakes all you want. City have been in the Champions League for the past 8(?) years in a row. "Cheating" by the corrupt UEFA that has an agenda against us isn't the reason we haven't won the champions league since then. It's a very difficult competition to win.

Not everything is a conspiracy. That type of talk belongs in rawk. The victims complex. The conspiracy theories. The delusions.

I don't know if I believe there is a conspiracy but how you can defend the refereeing performances in THOSE ties and put it down to "our defenders mistakes" I don't know. Waffle on about tinfoil hats and all that guff all you like pal but that was complete bollocks and you needed calling out on it.

Because seldom are the var based decisions correct or indeed rectify clear mistakes.
They take out the context by slowing to a 1000th of a second and making everything look deliberate, the angles are poor, it slows the game and it will lead to a lowering of refereeing competence. Add to that the opportunity to manufacture decisions and results and indeed open up possibilities of bribery and fraud.
Worst "development" in football in my opinion.

How long until blasting the ball at an opponent in the box becomes a legitimate tactic, you're bound to hit a hand at some point.

If a foul is going to be given every time the ball touches the hand, then maybe handball in the box should become a direct or indirect free-kick, unless it occurs on the goal line or an open net.

Fuck, I've slept over those games. I'd rather play Rags than PSG any fucking day so I'm pretty OK with this but boy, I didn't expect that. Paris are serious underachievers in CL, worse than us and we're not brilliant by any stretch of imagination.

If they’re stupid enough to give penalties every time the ball hits somebody’s arm it won’t take long for attackers to realise they can try and deliberately kick the ball into a defenders arm when dribbling at close distance.

Don’t be ridiculous.. Liverpool “were” our kryptonite.. over two legs we beat this Utd 9 times out of 10. PSG playing well for two games and we would have to be at our absolute best.

But got beaten comfortably by Madrid. Roma weren't that tough a team and won the match in Italy. It's not easy to fluke the Champions League. The lesser teams will lose, as it gets tougher.

I'm not sure what your point is ?
We were far better than liverpool last year, yet lost to them in the cl (with a bit of help along the way).

Maybe the majority of our home support booing their anthem at every Champs league home game have got the wrong end of the stick then , absolutely agree its a difficult competition to win , we just want a level playing field.
