Champions League Games 7/8 May

Firstly ....fuck Liverpool.

I know a few spurs fans and fair play to them they deserve this.

Hoping for a spurs CL victory......

I shall leave my last pertinent comment of the night;)

If we ever do one day go on to win it, the wider credit won't be forthcoming and an asterisk placed alongside, just as they try to do with everything we win.

Let that permeate for a second, then you will feel much more relaxed about falling short on a complete lottery comp.

It matters not one bit the brickbats we receive for not winning it or getting to a final...

They will still be lobbed if we do go all the way.

If it's wider acknowledgement or approval City fans are seeking, they are shit outta luck.

All that matters is we are competing every year at the top table.

That kills them. That is our biggest achievement.

Said this mate, dont know why you need anyones approval. Your a fantastic team with brilliant talent and one of, if not, the best managers in the world. Your lucky, so just enjoy it, fuck everyone else's views.

This is why I love football.... the emotion from Pochettino said it all, fantastic achievement, let’s hope they go on and win it...

Hope to god the scum don’t wake up and smell the coffee and go for him, although I have a sneaky feeling he’ll now become the front runner for Barca!

Undoubtedly some really good games in the competition this year, unlike many previous years. The organisers will be delighted by that but the fact is for the vast majority of fans of whatever English club, they would all much prefer to win the Premier League. That's the prize of prizes, the crown jewels. If I had to choose the winners of the CL I would hope for Spurs for obvious reasons but in many respects its like deciding who you want to win the Championship, I might have a favourite but Im not that bothered. The only thing that bothers me is Sunday.

Apparently UEFA have said he was shown all angles. It definitely still needs work though that's for sure but ultimately I think more correct decisions will be made with VAR than without.
Erm we all saw the screen and the footage he watched as he reviewed it. He wasn’t shown the definitive angle showing the contact fully. Even Pep said the ref wasn’t shown the angle he and his staff saw after the handball. Here’s his quote after the match
"I support VAR but maybe from one angle Fernando Llorente's goal is handball, maybe from the referee's angle it is not."

You need to stop digging with your “apparently” bollocks. Do you have a link to this “apparently” shite?

I did say that I could remember and as you’ve rightly pointed out my memory is shot!

That Bayern game was a great night.

Still think my original point about our lack of ability to turn almost impossible and improbable situations around stands
After 10 minutes of the second leg we were 3-1 down and behind on away goals and managed to turn that around and were knocked out by a handball and questionable use of VAR. The problem is getting ourselves into these situations crazy 20 mins at Klanfield last season and Laporte having a nightmare 5 mins against Spurs. I don't doubt our ability to come back from these situations but when you're consistently on the wrong end of key decisions it makes it impossible.
