In a cup competition. Over 2 legs. Now can you see what the whole tournament would be like if they scraped the pointless league system and just chucked everyone in a hat? No seeding. Just the draw.
It's a knock out competition. We only seem to be very good at the league cup - 4 victories in 8 seasons (2 on penalties). The FA cup is 1 victory in 8 seasons 1 finalist, another to be determined.and 1 SF. In the CL we have 2 QFs and 1 SF.We should be winning this tournament next season, no excuses.
So UEFA have said “All relevant angles were made available to the referee to take his decision”. Would that be all the angles that are relevant to ensuring the goal wasn’t disallowed?
Make of it what you want, I'm merely quoting what UEFA have said.So UEFA have said “All relevant angles were made available to the referee to take his decision”. Would that be all the angles that are relevant to ensuring the goal wasn’t disallowed?
It was a rhetorical question.Make of it what you want, I'm merely quoting what UEFA have said.
I literally watched it in real time, the ref only saw it from one angle looking from the corner flag, he didn’t see the footage from behind the goal - the one that shows the handball clearly (it was posted on here immediately after as well, I’m sure you saw it!). BT had already shown both angles before the ref had a look at the screen so I knew there were two angles available. The ref was only shown one angle as the TV cameras shown the ref looking at the screen and you could blatantly see he was only shown the incorrect angle, whilst he was looking at the screen you could also see the footage he was watching and the camera stayed on him until he walked away from the screen so at no point was he shown anything we didn’t watch with him whilst he was having a look himself. He walked away and sort of shrugged his shoulders as if to say he couldn’t see the handball.
