I thought this was the case - knew you would know!

Yes, I do think taped rings have always been allowed. Kane use to tape his. I wonder if we’ve seen more taped fingers lately because more players are wearing the smart rings. But that doesn’t account for the big hand wraps.
A taped finger is a lot different to a bandaged hand and arm....

After a few San Miguels i watch football highlights on Youtube.

A random game of Ajax v Spurs was available and guess which c*nts popped up…..

De Ligt (RAG) scored
ETH (RAG) manager
Onana (Rag)
Van Der Sar (Rag) jumping up & down in crowd
Van Der Beek (RAG)

Get the fuck out!

Apart from Camelgob getting invloved It put a smile on my face.

Foden didn’t have the bandage when he came on against Chelsea at the start of the season so the fact that it is now back, I assume he has suffered some aggravation of the initial injury.

I didn’t even know they were a thing. Smart rings. Just had a google.

I watched Champions League MOTD earlier. Good that we’ve got highlights on terrestrial tv again. Decent length show and Ned is one of the pundits, so all good there.

Anyway, what made me laugh was a special ‘ legendary games from the past’ which featured Madrid v United, of course it did!

Shoe-horning in the former successful team, that happens to be the media darlings, is delightful! Hope they do it again next time!

Nothing out of the norm no. We took pep from them though. they try and act like they never really took to pep but they were desperate for him to remain there. Losing the best manager on the planet is a bitter pill to swallow.

Then we absolutely mullered them 2 seasons back, embarrassing them before doing the same to Real Madrid En route to winning it. They've never been given a hiding like that at that stage of a competition before, it hurt them hard.
True. Still remember Sane's and Tuchel's reactions in Rodrigo's first goal. The effect of intimidation. Then there was footage from a dinner, Kahn desperately trying to restore their morale which had seriously dropped. Didn't save his job though. Never truly believed they could turn things around in the second leg, it was obvious they lacked faith...

One thing I would add, this thing starts with their hierarchy, the likes of Rummenigge etc. Sure we have done some business with them, but they were usually disrespectful towards City. Directly or indirectly. Not to mention the German media, papers, magazines etc. Masses are always vulnerable to propaganda. If it's supported from their leaders, it becomes even easier...

No the opposite. Way too many hated Pep and saw a disappointment in him, as he failed to win the CL with them.

I am from Germany they were happy to trade Pep for Lucky a§§celotti.
I doubt they still are, this thing didn't last long. The media have published on / off the record reactions and comments from Bayern players regarding the quality of work of the two managers, their training methodologies, tactical approaches etc. Ancelotti survived one full season, and after his sacking the following autumn, it was reported that he had lost the dressing room (which was confirmed by club's officials, if I remember well). I think the narrative changed pretty quickly...
