So if Chelsea, 10th in the PL 29 pts behind the leaders, go through are they amongst the best 8 teams in Europe ?

So is the team that wins it the best team in Europe ?

No to both questions. Prioritise the league. Still hope we get the bit of luck needed to win this or the equally important FA cup as well but in the grand scheme of things winning this is unimportant.

This automated offside system for champions leauge is great. Decision whiting seconds compared to the nonsense with lines etc in PL. Are PL going to be upgalrading to that at some stage?

Reyna looks a decent prospect. Had fitness issues I think but there's a tidy player there.

Those ones always are when attackers running through and defender steps forward. Even the defender knew it was touch and go as well judging by his recovery sprint to get back after stepping up.

Wow at that replay graphic. What a great advert for the automated decision on a fast tight call made in under 10 seconds.

It's the arc of a circle that's 10 yards from the penalty spot. The official distance opposition players should stand (at least) when a free kick / penalty is taken.
