Champions League Group Stage

Always love these threads to gauge people's priorities.
I want these sides cause we should win every game.
I want these cause it's easy - cheap to get to.
I want these cause I haven't been there
I want these cause it's a good piss up
&
I want here cause I have free digs lol

The draw that I would like would be Benfica, Salzburg, and Legia Warzsaw. Most Probably we will end up with 1 of Barcelona. Real Madrid or Bayern Munchen in our group. The reason is I can also make a trip to see my cousins for 1 of the away games and turn it into a holiday.

My choice would be
Benfica - plenty of tickets & I love Lisbon
PSV or Brugge easy enough to get to
Monaco - flight to Nice and a few days on the French Riviera
(Oh and we should beat all 3 and have a good piss up)

My priorities are pretty clear - first and foremost I want somewhere I've not been before, and if thats not possible then the next priority is somewhere cheap. We can have a piss up anywhere!

Copenhagen 2009 was a great trip and my first ever Euro away day, but very expensive and fucking bollock freezing! Went for 4 nights but its a bit of a blur haha I stayed in a hostel and was lucky enough to get a dorm that had another City fan in it, plus his mate who fancied the trip. Remember going out with them and a round of 3 beers costing over £20. Would go back but would much prefer new places.

Really fancy Warsaw as Poland is so cheap, or Brugge or Eindhoven as can get a ferry over to them and that could be comical. Lyon on the Eurostar would also be fine by me.

That would be the perfect draw, in every sense.
Seen us against Salzburg and Copenhagen. So not quite. Remember winning my ticket and trip money back on Bellers scoring twice (double odds) against Copenhagen, good times.

Lyons ground is a 5 day camel ride out of the city with nothing near it (@ least it appeared that way in June)
We had to get tube, then tram & then bus to get to the ground, bus then tube back to the city centre)

I went there for the Euros too. The journey out was fine on the tram from the centre, but the journey back after the game was ridiculous. Everyone bussed to the Expo centre, then everyone on a tram that took forever to a metro stop not in the centre, change onto another tram and then a final change to get back to the main station. I remember being angry about it, but its a nice ground and decent city in fairness.
