Champions League Group Stage

Copenhagen was a great trip, albeit a little expensive! I remember finding a bar which was showing the season review dvd from the Kevin Keegan promotion year which even now is still one of my favourite seasons.

I also remember buying a 4 pack of cans at the train station to drink as I walked to the ground and I really struggled to finish the second one because it had got too cold.

Feel like I didn't have a proper mooch around the city so would be happy to go back, but would prefer Warsaw (cheap).

Cardiff would be such a good place for a final...

Celtic would be amusing, but ideally I just want some new venues.
I hope we don't get Celtic for two reasons
1) they are capable of getting a result against anyone in Glasgow (they beat Barca a few years ago)
2) my youngest is a Celtic supporter and I would never hear the end of it if we failed to beat them by a cricket score

Oh and three I can't stand that perfect toothed clown.

Oh and 4, Glasgow is my least favourite city

Not exactly city-related but IMO whoever gets tottenham will most likely be in the group of death. And in fairness to spurs, the last time they were in the CL, they were grouped with the holders and topped the group. We need the english teams to be consistently good in europe, italy is breathing down england's neck coefficient-wise
Matters not soon.

Just found this thread, some great memories:

This was a great trip. One of only 2 european aways I have done.It was freezing and a pretty pricy but locals were very friendly.
City fans at the time were singing "Ireland is Superman" Then when this guy started it was "weve got a Spiderman.
Remember Ned scored a bizarre goal in front of some cardboard cuts out of fans

We did exactly the same good job our hotel was only down the road from the main station. It was expensive but don't remember paying €10 for a beer . We went into some irish bar who were advertising beer for about €6 a pint. Had great fun outside with a huge group of blues kicking football's about.
Danish krone mate not euros,i still have some of that divvy danish coin from that trip, the ones like fuckin polo mints with the hole in the middle.
