It won't be hard to avoid Atletico as they'll be in pot 2 with us if we manage to get through tomorrow.

To be honest I am flabbergasted that any of you are predicting what group we are going to be in, when we are only 5-0 up from first leg of the qualifying match...!
I still bit my nails in the second leg of the League Cup Semi when we were 6-0 against West Ham.... ;-)

We seem to have had 'better' draws recently amazing what happens when the top table decision makers change.
I do think we'll probably end up with one of the big 3 from pot 1 though.

It was indeed a great trip. Worth mentioning though that in no way is it a good idea to use the white knuckle rides on the fair having been in the beer tents all day.That time we played them in the Allianz when the Oktoberfest was on, was one of the best away trips I've ever done with City. Beautiful weather helped of course, as did the waitresses with all their massive jugs!
The words "Never again" comte to mind :)

True. When we were there in 2009 for the UEFA Cup game everyone was sneaking booze from the offy into the pub because it was about €10 a pint. Great trip, despite the snowstorm after the game! Think that was the game when "Spiderman" scaled the netting inside the ground if memory serves.

It was...cheapest beer we could find was in Spunk Bar close to the Spikes trip hotel.
