Just walk into downtown Lisbon and follow your Blue nose mate, we will be there waiting for you :-)Brilliant. Party time. Where do we all meet up?
Thanks. Got digs about 250 yards from Rossio. I thought that might be the right area.Rossio Square seems to be where previous fans have gathered and the barrio alto area.
Completely agree & always prefer to make my own travel plans & have a couple of nights away but sometimes the day trip option fits better around work & other stuff for people. Thankfully been able to re-arrange work commitments & we’ve now booked return flights from Heathrow to Lisbon Monday to Wednesday & with train tickets it comes to around £160. Plenty of inexpensive & decent digs to choose from too.At a cost of £429 without match ticket thats not surprising. Can do ur own 3 - 4 day trip for half that.
It took me 6 days including the New Year break , surprised to say the least .Paid 5 quid extra for express delivery.Anyone know how long passport replacement take these days

Had an email & then a phone call from Sportsworld today to advise that the official club trip has been cancelled due to low take up.
Unfortunately, the Club has now made the decision to cancel this travel package. As stated at the time of purchase, the Club would only be able to proceed with the travel package if the flight reached a certain capacity. Despite an initial supporter survey showing a sizeable demand, we have not received enough interest for the trip to go ahead.
To ensure that you have as much time as possible to make alternative travel arrangements, the Club has decided to cancel the travel package earlier than the initial deadline of Friday 21st January.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however please be assured Sportsworld will issue you a full refund for your travel package within the next 3 working days.
Your ticket for the match will still be valid, however supporters can also request a refund for this by contacting the Club’s Supporter Services on (0)161 444 1894 or email them at mancity@mancity.com.
Although the Club can no longer proceed with the travel package, please note that several major airline companies are running direct flights from Manchester Airport to Lisbon on the day of the match with return flights the following day should you wish to rebook your travel.
Much prefer doing my own trip. Weve combined Norwich with the Lisbon trip and turned it into a 5 day trip. Total cost for everything except any tests we may need to have £280. Dont know how they can justify £429 for one night without a ticket too.No surprise at that price. This isn't the first time the official trips have been cancelled with the low uptake because of the prices they charge. I think the demographic of our European away following lends itself to independent travel too.
