Yep, all the semi finalists had fuck all to play for domestically, Dortmund and Bayern couldn’t challenge for their league as top 5 is nailed on for next year, Real had virtually wrapped up La Liga when they played us and PSG had an unassailable lead in the French League.

Us and the Tarquins were under the most pressure and we had the added FA Cup semi final to deal with, there's no way we would have repeated last years treble under the run of games we faced.

Especially not with the depth of squad we chose to utilise.
