We are definitely capable of shipping goals mate that's a given, but over 2 legs the teams we play will have to play out of their skin over 190 minutes.

Now if it were 1 leg knockout IMHO it gets much more tricky.

I agree with that definitely.

I just hope we don't leave it too late to do the damage.

I think what scarred me this season was the number of games where we lost control completely and didn't just ship 1 or 2, in some cases it was 3 or 4.

Liverpool should have seen us off on Sunday in that second half so I was grateful for a point in the end, but I just think in a CL game against Real Madrid, if we carry on as we are, they could win the entire tie in a 20 minute period and score 2 or 3.

Huge spring break for Pep and the team.

Equally Leipzig should have buried Madrid in the first half of first leg...
... I'm sure we will be pragmatic when the occasion requires

Imo, we'll draw Barcelona.

The dream tie for Liverpool is City-Arsenal.

As an Arsenal fan I'd want to avoid City over 2 legs. That's a worst-case draw for us. Anyone else I don't mind, in fact I'd kind of prefer Inter if they get through, seems like the sort of side that could give us a tough tie but where we'd still be able to play our game and I'd fancy us to go through as I don't think being top of a very poor Serie A justifies the plaudits they are getting.

Our path to the final last season proved that to be champions it's possible doing it the hard way. The only team I fear in that draw is City. If we pick up and play our best football in the remaining games we win the trophy.

Main priority for me; away in the first leg. After that, then I'd be looking at who we could get. Honestly, though (and yes, I'm biased); over two legs, I'd be hopeful we could handle any side. We're not a bad team, you know? Despite what some of the flappers in the match threads on here would have you believe.
Agreed, the pattern of away/home legs more important that the opponents from here on in.

If I could choose the draw

City v Barcelona
Atletico/Inter vs Dortmund/PSV
AND
Bayern vs Real
PSG vs Arsenal

City to beat 3 Spanish sides on way to historic champions league final
