we played a terribly physical game in cup final vs lyon and we won it on penalties only after 120m of insane lyon defense. Lyon is an awful team to watch but they know their shit when it comes to defend.

To be fair, he’s actual the standard for world class players — most are wankers, comes with the mindset that most need to get to the very top.

Ours are the exceptions; they are primarily talented, driven, focused, but humble, self-less, team-oriented. It’s the personality profile we seek for our players and there’s not an over abundance of those type at the very top echelons.

It’s why it takes so much bloody effort and time for us to acquire them.

He played in a back 4 for his entire youth career, at NYCFC, in Spain, in Holland and now for most of a CL semi-final until Nagelsmann switched to chase the game.

Judging a player by dropping him into a game at Anfield or against United when he's not played for 6 weeks with Fernandinho and John Stones as CB partners might just have been the problem.

hope he stills on bench vs bayern , we re much more efficient and solid with paredes. If by chance we lead the game in second half , he ll be nice to freeze the ball
