I still can't get over the fact that Pep Guardiola selected the XI he did for Lyon.
PSG don't have a better defence than us, but Tuchel backed his best XI.
Pep absolutely bottled it on Saturday and questions need to be asked.
This XI for a quarter final is a disgrace:

And let me call BULLSHIT on this parrot-like assumption that money that comes from the Middle East is somehow ‘dirty’, and that money that comes from, say, America, or Asia, is ‘clean’. i think pep still thought we would beat lyon and then the team had played a competitive match in the system for Bayern
We have never been in CL finals before.@Parisian congrats! You must be over the moon right now. How many years had it been since your last final?
We did win the C2 in 1996 against Rapid Vienne and lost in finals against Barça the following year. Was the good old time.

It’s been going on for sometime, it’s just it was mostly within rival supporter communities and inter-fan banter, with the occasional bitter journo taking it up on talkSport or Sunday Supplement.People keep coming out with this load of utter cobblers like parrots with brains the size of peas. Problem is, they never define exactly what they mean, and exactly how City has ruined football. Do they in fact mean that City has ruined the fun for United and Liverpool because they just shared out the domestic honours between them for about forty years (barring the occasional look in for Nottingham Forest, Everton, Blackburn Rovers, Leeds and Arsenal)?
What has changed is a universe of former United and Liverpool players-turned-pundits spouting it on tele in many different countries and on Twitter everywhere, lending false legitimacy to, as you said, absolutely drivel.
It’s similar to the way so many of them responded to the CAS appeal verdict: just we are dirty and guilty regardless of the actual findings.
If you repeat something often enough people will just start believing it is true regardless if there is any supporting evidence.
Carragher is just toeing the party line in an attempt to keep hold of the narrative they desperately need to hinder City.
