then wingers were essential. It also helps that robben and ribery are probably the best in the world. BM do not need to play with that intensity for most of their domestic games, it is doubtful that any team could, but they would get the closest. Power and pace with great technical skills seasoned with a big pinch of cynical nous and you have the blueprint for a successful team. It wasn't just the wingers.
